The design for this lectern derived from the inability to find an audio lectern that was transportable and suitable for both paper notes based talks and laptop presentations.
It is manufactured from satin varnished solid pine (not MDF or veneer). The integrated flexible condenser microphone provides a balanced XLR output suitable for most professional audio systems. There is also a LED strip light built into the top of the lectern to light the notes or laptop keyboard.
The microphone on/off button and the LED light switch are both easy to operate at the top of the lectern. The lectern weighs only 17kg and has transport wheels and a handle for ease.
The lecterns are handmade to order in Sussex and therefore can be customised to suit your needs. Such as having either a solid front or a speaker grille on the front. Signage and artwork can also be added to your lectern. The wood can be left natural (as above) or stained to a medium or dark oak colour.
Audio Kits are also available, perfectly matching the integrated microphone with an active speaker that can stand on the lower shelf to enable the speech to be clearly heard even with background noise.
The active speaker is 100w RMS (300w peak) with separate inputs for microphone and line signals which allows audio from a laptop or CD player to be mixed with the microphone. There is also a built-in USB/SD MP3 player for background music.

Kit 2 The standard audio lectern with condenser microphone and LED light and the active speaker and all necessary power and microphone leads and a heavy duty speaker stand is £675 + post & packing.
Kit 3 For larger venues consists of the standard audio lectern with condenser microphone and LED light and two active speakers and all necessary power and microphone leads with two heavy duty speaker stands is £795 + post & packing.
